MirrorUE Performance & Latency Benchmarks
To provide transparent engineering data, we conducted rigorous latency, framerate stability, and resource consumption benchmarks comparing MirrorUE against QuickTime and standard wireless mirroring solutions.
1. Input-to-Photon Display Latency
Measured via high-speed 240 FPS camera recording the interval between physical mouse click down-event on macOS and the corresponding UI response rendered in the video viewport:

3. Resource Consumption & Memory Footprint
- Host Memory (RAM): ~45 MB resident memory during active 120 FPS feed.
- GPU Overhead: ~4% GPU shader execution on Apple Silicon GPU.
- USB Bandwidth: Compressed payload uses ~35-48 MB/s, well within USB 2.0 (480 Mbps) and USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) limits.
