Privacy Policy
This policy explains how MirrorUE (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use our website, join the Pro waitlist, or contact us.
1. Who is responsible?

2. What we collect & Tracking Disclosure
- Waitlist: email address, plan choice (Pro or Fleet), optional company name and note.
- Website & Download Analytics: We use the Google Tag (gtag.js / Google Ads ID AW-18393322142) on this website to measure aggregate site visits and software download conversions (.dmg downloads). You can disable ad personalization or block tracking cookies via standard browser settings or Google Ad Settings.
- MirrorUE Desktop Application: The MirrorUE macOS application operates 100% offline and locally over USB. It contains zero telemetry, zero analytics tracking, and zero remote data reporting. Your iPhone screen frames, keyboard inputs, and touch coordinates never leave your Mac and connected device.
- Hosting: Standard HTTP request logs processed by GitHub Pages (IP address, user-agent, timestamp).
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
3. How signups are processed
When you join the Pro waitlist, your submission is handled as follows:
- Web3Forms (primary): the form sends your details to Web3Forms, which forwards them to the maintainer by email. Web3Forms runs server-side spam checks; we also use hCaptcha on the form. Web3Forms may retain submissions for a limited period under their policy.
- GitHub Issues (fallback): if Web3Forms fails, a prefilled issue may open on our public GitHub repository. You confirm by clicking “Submit new issue”. The issue is auto-closed after processing. Issue content may remain visible on GitHub.
4. Why we use your data
- To register your interest in MirrorUE Pro or Fleet
- To contact you about early access, pricing, and product updates related to your request
- To understand aggregate interest (plan mix, use cases)
Legal basis (EEA/UK): your consent when submitting the waitlist form.
5. Retention
Waitlist data is kept until Pro launches and follow-up is complete, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. Web3Forms may retain submissions for a limited time per their policy. GitHub issue records may persist according to GitHub’s retention rules.
6. Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to operate the site, waitlist, and advertising measurement:
- Web3Forms (form delivery and spam protection)
- hCaptcha (captcha verification when you submit the form)
- GitHub (site hosting; issue fallback and notifications)
- Google (conversion measurement and audience matching via Google Ads tag)
7. Advertising, Conversion Tracking & Customer Match Disclosure
We use conversion tags and APIs (including the Google Tag / Google Ads tag) on this website to automatically measure interactions and create Customer lists using data collected from customers via our conversion tags and API for advertising performance measurement and audience optimization.
This data is collected and shared with Google in compliance with Google's Customer Match policies. In particular:
- We disclose that we share customer data with third parties (such as Google) to perform services on our behalf.
- We obtain consent for such sharing where required by law or applicable policies governing personalized ads and user consent, including Google’s EU user consent policy.
- Data uploaded or shared is only used to match customers to Google accounts and ensure Customer Match campaigns comply with applicable policies (Learn more).
- To comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Google Ads Data Processing Terms apply to Customer Match. Under these terms, Google acts as a "processor" of personal data shared for Customer Match.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. Email kbourouiba@icloud.com with the address you used to sign up.
EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. French users: CNIL.
9. International transfers
GitHub, Web3Forms, hCaptcha, Google, and related providers may process data in the United States or other countries. We rely on their applicable safeguards where required by law.
10. Children
MirrorUE is a developer tool. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
